Driving Directions

From the Atlanta Airport or Downtown Atlanta

Travel I-75 North to the junction of I-575. Take I-575 North. I-575 becomes Highways 5 & 515, also known as the Zell Miller Mountain Parkway and the Southern Highroads Trail.

Continue on Highways 5 & 515 North through Jasper, Ellijay, Blueridge and Blairsville. In Blairsville Highway 515 becomes U.S. Highway 76.

From Blairsville, GA. travel on US 76 East to Young Harris, GA. Young Harris College is located on US 76 at the intersection of Highway 66. Turn left (north) onto Highway 66 and follow Highway 66 for 5 miles. After crossing the GA/NC border turn right (east) onto Pisgah Rd.

Follow Pisgah Rd. to the stop sign at Hall Cove Rd. Turn left, uphill, onto Hall Cove Rd. Follow the Deer Valley signs to the main entrance on your left, 1 mile past the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. If you have any problems with directions please call Don or Lynn Fountain at 828.389.2826.

Note: This route is 4 lanes or more divided highway all the way to Blairsville, GA. The road between Blairsville and Young Harris is a 3 or 4 lane highway. The last 8 miles of the trip is on a 2 lane roadway. The speed limit it 55 mph or higher for more than 90% of the travel distance. For those whose stomachs don't like the twisting mountain roads there are none on this route.
